Pure titanium has
hexagonal closest packed lattice (
phase) in the room temperature condition. However it can
be changed to body entered cubic lattice in the condition
of about 885
as allotropic transformation. This temperature is called
transus, whereasadding alloy elements to pure titanium,
transus can be affected by the element type or combination.

strength, ductility and toughness leads it to able to
be processed to various shapes such as forging products
