A new series in considering performances is available. 1. Excellent Abrasion Resistance SUMIHARD-K500 and K400 are about 4 times and about 2.5 times as abrasion resistant as ordinary steel, respectively. They can contribute to extending life, reducing weight, and cutting cost of machine parts. 2. Excellent Weldability and Workability Customers can use with confidence this series of materials because of their excellent delayed failure resistance after welding and splendid formability such as cold bending. Owing to their simplicity in fabrication control, they can help customers improve their production efficiency. 3. Any grade for any service available Taking into account the customers' efficiency at purchase, steel plates with properties required by the customer (e.g. intermediate hardness) are available. |
