Bogies for the Shinkansen bullet train need to provide a safe and comfortable ride at speeds of up to 300 km/h. For this we conduct all design and manufacture with a special emphasis on safety, implement all the necessary testing. Today, we are focusing on the development of new bogies strive toward higher speed.
Regarding bogies for commuter train cars operated by private companies and public enterprises, using our wealth of accumulated know-how we have been incorporating the various needs of our clients into our design and manufacture processes, in order to make the most suitable bogies possible for each of their running lines. An excellent example of this is the epoch-making bogie for the linear motor railway car, in that the size of the bogie was designed to be as low as possible, enabling the minimization of the overall size of the car, which in turn allowed the sectional area of the tunnel to be minimized, resulting in decreased tunnel construction cost. Also, the tramcars require features for barrier free design, and to comply with this requirement, we are designing bogies with a compact construction that can accommodate lower floors of the tramcars. |
