| We are engaged in the design and manufacture of brake disks for high-speed railway cars (Including Shinkansen bullet trains). Especially, forged steel brake disks have several advantages over the traditional cast iron disks. These include resistance to cracks and wear resistance of the sliding surfaces caused by the thermal loading in high speed applications. Thanks to this high durability, forged steel brake disks are applied for all of new type bullet trains. They are not only assembled to the wheel but also at various other locations such as the center of axles. |
