After Service

Our sales representatives are not the only ones who visit the customers’ manufacturing sites. Veterans in manufacturing at our steel works also visit customers’ worksites, often on a regularly scheduled basis. They listen closely to the customers and then are able to provide feedback directly to the steel works. We call this mechanism our “Quality Patrol” and have become the first in the steel industry to create this unique type of “After Service.” Listening to customers and visiting production worksites: this is part of the culture and tradition of Sumitomo Metals.
